Dandelion Massage and Health Policies

Policies: Cancelation policy

Cancellation and Late Arrival Policy

It is respectfully asked that you provide at least 24 hours notice for any schedule changes or cancellation requests. Please understand that when an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, it may be difficult to fill that appointment time. For this reason you would be charged 50% of the service cost for the first appointment missed and 100% of the service cost for any appointments missed after that. If three appointments are canceled in a row for one session with more than 24 hour notice, there would be a 50% fee to reschedule again. Late cancellation due to emergency, illness, or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charge, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Please arrive 5-10 mins early for your first appointment for time to fill out paperwork and ask questions. I understand there may be issues that arise that may cause you to be late, however please call to inform me if that ever occurs so I can do my best to accommodate you. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so often times I cannot exceed the appointment time without making the next client late. For this reason, arriving after your appointment time may result in the loss of time for your massage so that your appointment ends at the scheduled time. Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival.

Inappropriate behavior policy

Massage Therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to Massage Therapy whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of the session and for any and all services in the future. You will be charged the whole session cost regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited, there may also be a report filed with the local authorities if necessary. Please treat the practice of Massage Therapy with respect and dignity as you would want to be treated in return.
